Abstract摘要
This talk will present our recent work on the symmetry classification of typical quantum entanglement. While symmetry plays an important role in understanding phases of matter, its role in quantum entanglement remains largely unclear. In our work, we establish the symmetry classification of average quantum entanglement for free fermionic systems. After a brief review of the entanglement entropy of typical quantum states – known as the Page curve – and random matrix theory, I will show how the tenfold fundamental symmetries alter the fermionic Page curve. Our work demonstrates that the volume-law contribution to average entanglement entropy is robust, while the constant terms of the average and variance of entanglement entropy yield tenfold universal values unique to each symmetry
class.
个人简介: 刘语涵,现为马普量子光学所博士后。2018 年于中山大学物理学院获得学士学位,2023 年于芝加哥大学获得博士学位(导师: Shinsei Ryu)。主要进行量子多体体系中的量子纠缠以及共形场论研究。
