The talk begins with a brief introduction to the basic concepts of relativistic hydrodynamics. It then reviews four main holographic methods for studying the strongly coupled relativistic fluids. After a detailed review of the previous results on non-conformal relativistic fluids, we move to the central part of the talk: the non-conformal generalization of the fluid/gravity correspondence and the results that can be obtained from it. Finally, we conclude with a discussion of possible future directions.

Biography

吴超，2005年至2009年在安徽大学物理系攻读学士学位，2009年至2014年在中国科学技术大学近代物理系攻读博士学位，并获理学博士学位。2014年至2018年先后在中国科学院高能物理研究所和匈牙利科学院 Wigner 物理研究中心从事博士后研究。自2018年8月至今任职于安徽大学物理学院。科研工作主要从事规范引力对偶方向的研究，当前的研究内容为流体引力对偶及非共形相对论流体。主要讲授复变函数、数理方程、广义相对论导论及量子场论初步等课程。
