　　Here is a congratulation note to ITP on its 30th anniversary.

　　Congratulations to Institute of Theoretical Physics (ITP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, on its 30th anniversary. ITP has gone through a remarkable period : from its original building (with sandy floor and leaky windows), to its present site, with the new building and the establishment of the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics China, ITP has grown from a national center to an international institute. ITP has produced generations of successful scientists and many high- impact research results. Theoretical physicists all over the world are eager to come to visit. With an excellent group of theoretical physicists on its faculty, ITP continues its march forward in terms of intellectual quality and international recognition. We are proud of ITP' s achievements.
