Abstract摘要
Machine learning and stochastic dynamics have deep connections and cross-feed each other. As an example of AI for science, machine learning provides a powerful tool to investigate the time evolution of stochastic dynamics. In this talk, I will report our recent progress in two specific questions: (1) tracking the time evolution of the probability distribution for stochastic reaction networks; (2) characterizing a type of dynamical phase transition in nonequilibrium statistical mechanics. The results demonstrate how machine learning can help understand nonequilibrium stochastic dynamics, and provide many opportunities for future developments.
报告人简介：
汤迎，北京师范大学珠海校区复杂系统国际科学中心的副研究员。上海交通大学物理系博士，加州大学洛杉矶分校定量和计算生物科学研究所博士后。研究领域为非平衡态系统的随机动力学、统计物理、机器学习。近期研究成果包括，提出了演化神经网络的方法追踪高维随机反应网络演化；发展了时间序列动力学互信息的计算框架；发现非平衡系统中一个新的自由能等式：磁场不做功却仍能增大自由能。彭桓武青年学者
