The quasinormal modes are an important class of characteristic physical quantities of black holes, and one straightforward way to compute them is to use the connection formulae. The connection formulae, however, in general are difficult to derive. In this talk, we provide supportive evidence to (i) the connection formulae obtained from 2d CFT reproduce the correct QNMs for differential equation with only regular singularities; (ii) the connection formulae for irregular singularities may be obtained by taking the collision limit appropriately.

朱睿东，苏州大学副教授。2014年本科毕业于日本东京大学，2019年在东京大学获得博士学位，随后在都柏林高等研究院从事博士后研究，2020年底入职苏州大学。长期从事超对称规范场论的代数结构及关联严格可解模型研究，包括量子环面代数、拓扑弦、自旋链等方向，在相关方向已发表论文23篇。
