  • Abstract摘要

    In this work, we propose an economical hybrid inflation model where the SM Higgs acts as a waterfall field, instead of the inflaton as proposed in the Higgs inflation models. In this model, the inflaton is an axion-like field which can trigger the electroweak symmetry breaking, while the backreaction of the Higgs field helps to terminate the process of inflation. Both cosmological and collider bounds and constraints are analyzed, and it is found that the model can work quite well to interpret the recent CMB data and the Higgs data from the LHC.

    Biography

    晏启树教授一直活跃在TeV新物理研究领域,在同行评议专业刊物上共发表60余篇学术论文。2010年入职中国科学院大学(University of Chinese Academy of Sciences)后,他与兄弟单位同行合作,在新物理唯象学、电弱物理、Higgs物理、LHC及未来对撞机物理等方面开展理论研究工作。在CEPC的初期筹备工作中,负责担任计算机数值模拟理论工作部分的联络协调人。与国际知名的两大高能物理蒙特卡洛工具开发组Whizard组和Madgraph组有着良好的合作关系。
