Ultrafast Kaptiza-Dirac effect (UKD) provides an ultimate scheme to measure the momentum space phase information of free electrons in ultrafast time scale, indicates the possibility to acquire the position information of electron in real time. However, the current setups relay on visible or near-infrared pulses, which limit the spatial resolution to their wavelengths, i.e. sub-micrometer. Here we demonstrated that, with a moderate intense probe standing wave, one can have high-order stimulated Compton scattering, interfere electrons with momentum difference much larger than the photon momentum, which is sensitive to the initial position of electron with nanometer precision. This scheme provides the opportunity to bring the spatial information in three-step model from physical imagery to experimental observations.
Biography
梁昊,德国马克思普朗克核物理研究所博士后,本科和博士均毕业于北京大学。梁昊长期从事激光驱动下原子与小分子体系动力学的理论和数值研究,包括电离波包的时空重构、非偶极效应、电离解离过程中的电子-核关联、分子转动波包的操控、分子离子的相干辐射等。近年来在Science, Nat. Photon., Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., PRL 等期刊发表论文四十余篇,其中第一作者(含共一)十余篇;担任 APS, OSA 等系列期刊的审稿人;参与编著 101 计划教材《计算物理学》。
